Pallon also helped set up Nihal’s first exhibition in Bangalore, India. The show was great success; images were sold to various individuals as well as few companies invested in collections of his images. The success of the first show not only stemmed new opportunities such as working freelance jobs for magazines but also encouraged other galleries in the area to showcase Nihal’s work. It didn’t take too long before he had his second exhibition. “In my second show, I was trying to experiment far more with my work. The photographs were different from the stuff I showed at the first show a little more edger.”

Soon after his second exhibition Nihal enrolled into Brooks Institute of Photography. For the next three years Nihal spent his time earning his Bachelor of Art in Photography. “The demanding schedule that comes with Brooks wasn’t easy but by the end of my education I had become a confident photographer with a solid portfolio.” Nihal graduated with a double major in advertising and commercial photography with a specialization in architectural and people photography.
